Lamers and ScriptKiddies 3
As usual when running servers on the internet, you get people who try to hack your site, or post spam, or misuse your mailser ver, etc.
I take it personally when they do this and write software to help me fight them. I also take great delight in displaying their i ps and what offense they perpetrated for all the world to see.
The last time I published such lists, the onslaught it caused was tremendous. Well I am a glutton for punishment, because I am doing it again. ;)
Here for you enjoyment is the List of Lamers for you to peruse. As usual if you find your computer on this list and you think it shouldn't be, let me know.
My system is set to drop all access from computers who have had more than three offences in the past 30 days. The lamer list and the drop list is updated automatically every hour. There are a few large blocks of ips that I have banned permanently for persistent spam/hacking abuse. If you are blocked thusly tough luck.
Note: I don't have the mail log processing worked out yet, but be assured it will be coming soon. Spam emailers and other abusers will be added and blocked. Update: did it added both spamers blocked by the mta and spam that gets through.
So be sure to visit the Lamer List and laugh with me.
Autumn Leaves
Today I went out in the woods and sat and listened to the leaves fall. I can hear you say "Listened to the leaves fall, are you nuts?" It was actually a nice experience, sort of like letting snow fall around you. There was an occasional light breeze whic h made the leaves come in waves. Here are a couple of pictures of the woods in front of my office.

Configuring Exim4 dot forward Filtering
For a detail discussion of Exim's filter system, you should check out Exim's documentation itself (http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.40/doc/html/filter_toc.html ). For just the short of it, read on.
In order for Exim to recognize a .forward as having Exim4 filter rules, the first non-whitespace entry must be:

Character case and anything following it on the same line are ignored.
